Create Exchange Account & Secure It
- Register with a supported exchange (Binance, Kraken, Alpaca, or Capital.com).
- Complete identity verification (KYC) as required.
- Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your exchange account for robust security.
- Deposit your trading capital into your exchange account.
Generate API Keys
- Log into your exchange account.
- Navigate to the
API Managementsection (usually under Account Settings or Security).
- Initiate the "
Create New API Key" process.
- Assign a descriptive name (e.g., "Samuel Trading Bot").
- Crucially, securely save both your
API KeyandSecret Key. These are needed for Samuel's configuration.
